Founded in 2011, Sarajevo Spartans is the beating heart of American football in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Born from pure passion, countless late-night practices, muddy fields, broken cleats, and a stubborn belief that we could build something special, the Spartans today are more than just a team — we're a family, a movement, and a symbol of resilience.
We proudly compete in the regional Balkan Football League, flying the Spartan flag across fields from Sarajevo to Sofia, from Novi Sad to Poreč. Our club brings together players of all ages and backgrounds — from young dreamers learning their first routes in flag football to seasoned warriors battling in full-contact tackle football.
The Spartans stand for teamwork, hard work, loyalty, respect, and the relentless pursuit of growth — both on and off the field.
We don’t believe in shortcuts. We believe in early mornings, late nights, thousands of repetitions, and celebrating not just victories, but every inch of progress.
While trophies and victories matter (and yes, we chase them fiercely), what matters even more is the legacy we’re building — one tackle, one touchdown, one Spartan at a time.
